Marketing Coordinator at BlueConduit

BlueConduit’s Marketing Coordinator plans and implements content and event strategies to increase BlueConduit’s visibility and drive our growth. The company builds cloud software to predict health hazards in infrastructure. Our founding team members were first to build software that guided the then-largest replacement of lead water pipes in the US (Flint, MI). We’ve expanded that to serve cities throughout North America, on both a for-profit and charitable basis. We are passionate about using data science for social good and improving equity

BlueConduit is seeking a marketing coordinator who will:

  • Increase the quality and quantity of inbound leads via owned and earned media: our website, LinkedIn, and Twitter

  • Develop content and messaging for digital campaigns to include:

    • Website conversion rate optimization and lead magnet content 

    • Keyword research and targeting for SEO 

    • LinkedIn and Twitter posts and engagement

    • Paid social campaigns

    • Lead nurturing and customer relationship management via HubSpot

  • Optimize activities based on market intelligence and emerging content trends

  • Organize logistics at key conferences: conference tracking and planning, booth, presentations, messaging, promotions, and follow-up

  • Evaluate the effectiveness of communications and marketing campaigns

    • Web and campaign metrics: Analyze and interpret analytics data on a regular basis for continuous improvement.

    • Database work (CRM, mailing list, etc): Track and interpret marketing data, provide analyses for sales and operations

  • Able to present nuanced and sometimes technical information simply and clearly to different audiences.

  • Ability to tell stories with visuals as well as prose 

  • Curious about what you don’t know and eager to learn

  • Thrive in an entrepreneurial environment

  • Must be eligible to work in the US

Nice-to-have Qualifications

  • Demonstrated proficiency with our specific marketing stack

    • WordPress

    • HubSpot

  • Social media monitoring and messaging experience in a SaaS and environmental health setting

  • Graphic design experience
