Eric is a professor of marketing at the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan. With over 10 years experience in the fields of data science and predictive modeling, he is a pioneer in the realm of customer analytics. Recently, his focus has been on applying his data science expertise for public good, beginning with work on water quality and infrastructure issues central to remediation efforts in Flint, MI. His efforts in this area have been recognized by many as the standard for identifying lead services lines.
Jacob is a professor of Machine Learning at the College of Computing at Georgia Tech and was previously a faculty member at the University of Michigan. He has been working in data science and machine learning for nearly 15 years. His work using algorithmic tools for detecting lead pipes in remediation efforts during Flint’s water crisis has won numerous awards and has received attention from the New York Times, the Chicago Tribune, Scientific American, and more.
B.G. (ret.) Michael McDaniel
Director of Government and Customer Services
Brigadier General (ret.) McDaniel is currently Director of Homeland Security (HS) Law programs and a Campus Dean at WMU-Cooley Law School. He has focused on critical infrastructure protection and remediation as Deputy Assistant Secretary for Homeland Defense Strategy, Prevention and Mission Assurance and as Michigan's first Homeland Security Adviser. He served as program manager for the lead service line replacement programs in Flint and led review of Lansing’s critical infrastructure.
Chief Data Scientist
Jared is passionate about making machine learning beneficial to everyone. Jared received his MS in applied mathematics from Brigham Young University. Jared has been using data science to support the LSLR program in Flint, MI and other municipalities since 2016. His publications and presentations on the topic have won numerous awards.
Ian has a background in growing start-ups. In 2018, he completed a post-MBA fellowship, providing strategy and financial consulting social enterprises. He graduated from University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business and School of Natural Resources and Environment with an MBA/MS. He excels at human-centered design, stakeholder engagement, and business strategy. He served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Ecuador from 2009-2012.
Director of Business Development
Andy has a strong background in business development. His customer-centric experience was developed while leading international teams in the automotive and testing, inspection, and certification (TIC) industry. He received his BA in Economics and International Relations at the University of Rochester and his MBA from the Martin J. Whitman School of Management at Syracuse University. He helps lead BlueConduit’s sales and marketing strategy.
